Benchmark Report: March 2020 Flash Update

Monday, March 23, 2020

SUMMARY

Since our Annual Workforce Management Benchmark report release, there have been multiple jolts to our business and employment environment – driven in large part by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Findings in the bulletin include:

  • Historically stable jobs are no longer stable. The most impacted job categories are teachers, skilled trades, construction, healthcare workers – specifically nurses and doctors – and restaurant workers.
  • Stability in times of crisis. Religious workers and the military moved down four and five spots respectively in the overall volatility ranking. Despite the pandemic, these professionals remain true to their calling to serve, help, and protect.
