Today, client expectations of ongoing incremental value, accelerating effects of new technologies and the emergence of new sourcing channels are requiring us to rethink how MSPs will serve the changing needs of procurement and HR organizations in the future.
Still, the long debate about the superiority of either externally managed (MSP) or internally managed programs rages on, but this may not be the correct way of framing the choice. Emerging digital capabilities, more flexible services provisioning, configurable solutions and an expanding scope of services procurement initiatives overall may reframe how we think about the role of MSP in the future.
