From Our CEO, Jim Burke
As CEO of Workforce Logiq, I see three critical challenges that workforce management providers must address. First, incredible disruption in how we’ve all been doing business, which is making competing for and managing talent exponentially more complex.
Second, a clear client mandate for workforce management partners to step up—to do more to help organizations efficiently and cost-effectively win the talent they need to grow.
And third, much higher client expectations for how workforce management providers invest in and deliver more innovative solutions—especially in using advanced technologies to increase talent quality, retention, and program cost efficiency.
It is based on these challenges that we have formed Workforce Logiq’s mission: To reimagine and transform how you win the talent you need to grow–now and into the future–by combining and investing in:
Preparing our clients for the future today is particularly exciting for us since, for the most part, HR and procurement teams have not yet experienced the exponential efficiency gains that are being realized in other industries using advanced data science and machine learning. That’s where we will continue to excel and deliver superior results for our clients.
On behalf of the Workforce Logiq team, I want to thank our clients around the world for the trust they put in us every day with their most valuable asset—their people. For those of you just getting to know Workforce Logiq, I appreciate your time and consideration. Jim Burke, CEO
Jim Burke joined Workforce Logiq in June 2018, as Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Jim led three other technology enabled services businesses: Advanced Discovery, a global e-Discovery and risk management firm, vRad, the world’s largest telemedicine company and Global Compliance, a leading ethics and compliance services firm. Jim also held senior leadership positions at several Fortune 500 companies, including Dun & Bradstreet as President, Global Information Services & Chief Quality Officer; President, US Customer Segments. Jim also served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He earned a BSBA from Villanova University and an MBA from The Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
Mark Brady joined Workforce Logiq in July 2018, as Chief Operations Officer. Previously, he was President of Global Operations at Advanced Discovery, a global e-Discovery and risk management firm; Chief Client Officer at vRad, the world’s largest telemedicine company; Chief Operating Officer at Global Compliance, a leading ethics and compliance services firm; and SVP at Dun & Bradstreet. Additionally, Mark has held various strategy, finance, and marketing positions in public, private, and global companies. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Delaware.
Sean Cunningham joined Workforce Logiq in July 2018, as Chief Client Officer. Previously, he was Chief Client Officer at Advanced Discovery, a global e-Discovery and risk management firm; EVP of Client Solutions at Sterling Talent Solutions, a background screening company serving global organizations; and SVP of Global Risk Management at Dun & Bradstreet, a data, insight & analytics firm. Sean has extensive experience leading both sales and client service teams for global technology enabled services companies. Sean earned a BA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
As Chief Information Officer of Workforce Logiq, Frank DeArmas provides overall strategic direction to the company’s industry-leading technology, analytics, and informatics solutions across global operations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. In his previous role, Frank was Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Global Surgery for Johnson & Johnson headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was responsible for all IT activities for the Johnson & Johnson Global Surgery Group North America and for any franchise related solutions that were deployed globally. He was also responsible for the Professional Education and R&D Centers of Excellence.
Recently, Frank was selected as a 2019 Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council (HITEC) Hall of Fame inductee for the meaningful impact he has made within the technology industry and HITEC community. Frank received his BBA from Northwood University and his MBA from California Coast University and is a proud veteran of the US Army, having served 8 years.
Fatime Doczi joined Workforce Logiq in August 2018, as Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously, she led the worldwide HR organization as Executive VP, Human Resources with Advanced Discovery, a global e-Discovery and risk management firm. Fatime is an accomplished, energetic and highly effective HR leader, with 15 years of global human resources experience in diverse industries, including consumer goods, hospitality, and healthcare as VP, Talent Management, Kindred Healthcare and VP, HR at the Wyndham Hotel Group. She holds a BS/BA in Management & Global Business from Rider University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
Geoffrey (Geoff) Dubiski joined Workforce Logiq in August, 2020, as Chief Solutions Officer. Previously, Geoff was a Managing Director in EY’s People Advisory Services business and leader for EY’s Total Talent Workforce Management and Supply Chain offering. Geoff’s 25 years of human capital planning experience, includes integrated workforce planning, workforce analytics and decision support, AI-driven automation, location based talent strategies, technology investment planning, and partner selection support for contingent workforce (MSP/VMS) and full-time employee (RPO) related projects.
Geoff is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with an MS in Labor Relations, and is a SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) and is an SIA CCWP (Certified Contingent Workforce Professional).
Joe Hanna joined the executive team as Chief Strategy Officer, Workforce Logiq and Managing Director, ENGAGE Talent in October 2019 with the acquisition of ENGAGE.
Joe founded ENGAGE in 2015 and served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer leveraging his long experience in enterprise applications, predictive analytics, and building technology businesses.
He previously held executive positions with both Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. Joe is obsessed with taking on tough challenges – including connecting the dots between the millions of data feeds we process every day – or navigating grueling offshore sailing races!
Joe holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Alexandria University and an MBA from Duke University where he was named a Fuqua Scholar.
Rick Hutchinson joined LOKI Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Workforce Logiq, in January 2019, as Managing Director. Previously, Rick was Chief Technology Officer at Advanced Discovery; Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Modus eDiscovery; and Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Vantric LLC. Rick is an accomplished executive, strategic planner, and visionary leader with 17+ years of domestic and international business experience with a strong background in technology, operations, and financial oversight. He has an impressive track record of providing executive guidance and consulting services to a variety of businesses including private equity, global organizations, and technology enabled start-ups on market identification and evaluation, strategic positioning, and financial alignment.
Paul Meyers joined Workforce Logiq as SVP, Finance in May 2019 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in June, 2020. Prior to joining Workforce Logiq, he served as CFO for private equity portfolio companies in multiple industries including manufacturing, trucking, and pharmaceuticals. Paul also held positions at several General Electric Companies including GE Capital, GE Aircraft Engines, and General Electric Corporate as Business Development Manager for Corporate M&A where he successfully oversaw the sale of $16 billion of GE assets. Paul also served as a member of the US Air Force and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jesper Molin is Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Nordics region where he is responsible for overall solution design, service implementation, and strategic initiatives for our Nordic region clients. Jesper is based in our Stockholm global headquarters and has over a decade of contingent workforce management leadership experience. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Energy and IT from the University of Uppsala and is an avid skier and photographer.
Michael Passanisi has global oversight for all legal and compliance strategy and functions. Prior to Workforce Logiq, he was General Counsel and Head of Operations at NetBrain Technologies, Inc. Previously, he held the role of Assistant General Counsel for Interactive Data Corporation and was a partner with Holland & Knight, LLP. Michael also spent four years at Roche, Carens & DeGiacomo, P.C. where he represented privately held companies in corporate transactions. He graduated from Boston College with a BA degree and achieved his Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston.
Andrea Sugden joined Workforce Logiq in July 2019, as Chief Global Sales Officer. Sugden, brings over 20 years of industry experience and expertise having led sales, account management, and supplier management teams supporting both U.S. and global client relationships. Most recently, Andrea was Executive Vice President, U.S. Sales and National Accounts, for Adecco Staffing, a global recruitment and workforce solutions provider. Andrea’s staffing industry leadership has been recognized by a multitude of awards for sales growth and client retention.
Andrea is a graduate of the University of Tampa and attended the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
David Trachtenberg joined Workforce Logiq in July 2018, as Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Advanced Discovery, a global e-Discovery and risk management firm; Chief Solutions Officer at vRad, the world’s largest telemedicine company; and Chief Marketing Officer at Global Compliance, a leading ethics and compliance services firm. David brings 20+ years of marketing leadership experience in public and private companies, including MCI Communications, StarBand, Prodigy Internet, and Bain & Company. He has a BA in International Relations from Tufts University, an MA in International Affairs from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School. David is also on the Board of Governors at the Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania.
Christy Petrosso (Whitehead) is our Chief Data Scientist and Talent Economist, leading the strategy and design of our predictive AI algorithms and machine learning models. Christy joined our leadership team in October 2019 with the acquisition of ENGAGE Talent. Christy holds a PhD in Economics from Clemson University and has focused her career on employment and labor economics. Her previous experiences include key data science roles with PeopleMatter (acquired by Snag A Job) and Equifax. Christy is a frequent speaker in HR Analytics and machine learning conferences. She is also an active member of the Federal Reserve Roundtable.
